Fpl evolution charging station — Houston, TX

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

Installing an EV charger isn't a one-size-fits-all job. The final cost depends on your home’s existing electrical setup and how much distance we need to cover from your panel to where your vehicle parks. If your electrical panel needs an upgrade to handle the extra load, or if the wiring requires trenching through concrete or drywall, those factors push the price higher. We evaluate your specific garage or driveway setup to provide a clear estimate. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

FPL Evolution is a specific program offered by Florida Power & Light to help residential and commercial customers set up EV charging. You might need this if you are a utility customer looking for a bundled installation service managed directly by your power provider. These setups often include hardware and ongoing maintenance support. Costs depend on your current electrical panel capacity and the length of the wire run from the breaker. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.
